Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We also use related storage (such as local storage) for simple UI preferences like dismissing this site’s cookie notice.

Cookies we use

Essential

• Session / authentication — keep you signed in, protect forms (CSRF), and remember security session state. These are required for the app to work.
• Cookie notice preference — remembers if you dismissed the site cookie banner (local storage on your device).

Analytics (when enabled)

On the public marketing site, we may use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) for aggregated traffic and page-performance measurement when a measurement ID is configured. GA4 may set cookies or use similar identifiers. We do not send passwords, tokens, employee monitoring data, or other sensitive Desktive product data to Google Analytics. The signed-in cloud app does not load the marketing GA4 tag.

What we do not use

• Advertising or third-party retargeting tracking networks
• Cross-site data broker profiling

Desktop agent vs website cookies

The Windows agent and browser URL bridge collect workplace activity for your organization under product settings. That is not the same as website cookies. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

Your choices

• Use the cookie banner on this site to dismiss the notice after reading it
• Block or delete cookies in your browser settings (essential cookies may be required to sign in)
• Use browser or OS controls that limit cross-site tracking where available
